Training 2.1.2010

Attention here to everyone,because of Batu Bersurat Court occupy by the National team so we need another court to train.Its set that the training on second of january 2010 will be at Jerudong court.Its a wide open area so we can have all our training there.

As usual the training well start on fittness and continue with ball handling.Training start at 3+ till 5+ so be on time.

New player will come in for try out.As i said earlier i don't mind how well you play but i need team work in the team.

Update 24.12.2009

Latest news training on 26.12.2009 from 2pm till 4.30pm.No more friendly because the other team contact person go KK this few days so may be next week on our friendly.

Training on 2 and a half hours hope everyone can do well.

First one hours will work on some basic training then the rest well be individual training from Centres, Forwards and Guards.

Kwang will be training on guard for now.So that will be with Soon.

Boon,Arite,Martin and me will be on Centre and Forwards.

Hopefully Ryan and Derek can join us on the training.

At last if our time allow we might play a lil games but most will concentrate on training.

Next week training

Next training,for now its set to be on next saturday which is 26/12/2009.I'll comfirm on the court so no worries.

What have in mind is that we half training and half friendly so won't get bored to whole day training.Training be from 1 to 2+ and friendly is after that.

I'll try to make the court time from 1 to 5 so we have more time on court.Please be on to the training and don't just come for friendly and not training.

Any news will be update here so please check frequently.

Training Report 18.12.2009

Suppose to post this on friday night but due to my work i have to delay the posting.Already late when we arrive at Batu Bersurat but the training still on.

Only about half an hours of normal training already kill me and han so i guess you guys can understand how much behind we are comparing to other team.

We did run full court 2 round,fort&back 3 sets and frog jump fort&back 3 sets.Untill here we're already dieing on the ground.Next we go on with crab walk which we only do half way.

Overall the training is just half because i need to rush back to work so it was dismiss early.Only 3 of us attend.Me,Han and my bro.Even little people we still go on the training so i hope the next training you guys will try to attend.

Latest update 17/12/2009

Training will be on 18/12/2009 friday from 11am till 3pm at Batu Bersurat. We can have 11 till 1.30 training and arrange a friendly match at 1.30 just to have fun but it all have to be agree by everyone.

Changes is because tomorrow is a public holiday and Baracudas got training 1 to 4 on saturday.

Uncle Lim said he may help is out on our training so hopefully our training go well.

What I've Done?

Hello guys~This is what I do for my previous training while im still in KK..I do push ups and dribble for 40minutes..To master dribble (from basics), its better we just keep on hitting the ball(dribble) cause in this way, we could take note of how that ball is going to bounce and which direction will it be moving after bouncing..I don't know whether you guys understand my language here or not but, just dribble for long long time everyday aytes?It helps your dribbling skills~ =)

How did I do it?
  • Dribble using left hand for 10minutes nonstop
  • Dribble using right hand for 10minutes nonstop
  • Dribble with squat a little which is left leg in front and right leg in front for 10minutes (vice versa)

It is important that whenever we dribbles, we straighten our body but lower down a bit. Try any alternatives in your thoughts.

Saturday 19.12,2009

More or least the training will be on 19.12.2009.As planned earlier starting will be fitness which will concentrate on our stamina training and some on body build.Tough work so no play play.

For about 2 or 3 hours of fitness,ball handling will come in which cover dribbling and passing skill so pay attention to this part.

Hopefully the training will gather most of the team so no one will be left out.

New player may come to the try-out so any of you got any things or think that the person can join please let me know so that can decided want to let them in or not.

On going Training

As mention earlier our Wolves training will carry on after the Under18 tournament.I'll try to get permission to use the Batu Bersurat Court so everyone just prepare to the training.

One request here if possible everyone get a ball and I'll keep all the balls.Training using ball will not be use in other court outdoor court to play and will only use for training.
